Jim Bullock is well known in the farming industry for his work and research into direct drilling techniques, soil quality issues and reduction in machinery and crop establishment costs. With this in mind, he and two other fellow enthusiasts formed a company called BULLOCK TILLAGE and are offering farmers and growers a cost effective range of cultivation equipment and 12 volt Air Seeders to attach onto cultivators, subsoilers, grassland harrows etc, for small seeds and cover crops. See our latest cover crops trial by Clicking Here.

BULLOCK TILLAGE also offers a range of Slug pellet applicators for drills and quad bikes and has rapidly gained a reputation for being the only single disc machine that will throw all types of slug pellets accurately to 24 metres and has been independently tested by SCS for Farmers Weekly.

WELCOME TO BULLOCK TILLAGE

Interest in cover crops is increasing amongst farmers as a means of fixing nitrogen and increasing soil organic matter. With the onset of more herbicide resistant blackgrass many more farmers may be forced into a larger area of spring cropping allowing an over winter cover crop to be planted. In the future it may become compulsory to plant an over wintered cover crop to avoid nitrogen leaching from fallow land. For many years trial plots have been used at the farm in Worcestershire to research crop rotations, planting techniques, cover crops, crop residue management and cultivation techniques, in fact farmers are able to access much of the research work through the BULLOCK TILLAGE website.

BULLOCK TILLAGE is dedicated to offering farmers cost effective machinery in today’s volatile commodity market allowing investment to continue.
